I graduated from Columbia in May 2025, with a bachelors in mechanical engineering.
At Columbia, I was the president of the Columbia Space Initiative, Columbia's largest engineering club, where I designed astronaut tools selected to be tested in NASA's Neutral Buoyancy Lab, hosted a live Skype with the International Space Station, and supported our team's first hybrid rocket launch.
My coursework extended beyond engineering to the disciplines of history, sociology, art history, urban studies, and ethnicity and race studies. I had the honor of taking courses with Adam Tooze (Capitalism and Democracy), Astronaut Mike Massimino (Aerospace Human Factors), and Harry West (Human Centered Design).
Upon graduation, I was named a Senior Marshal.
I also spent almost every weekend in an art museum, volunteered as a gardener in Morningside Park, and volunteered in the ER at NY Presbyterian Hospital in Washington Heights.
